Coconut Oil (Cocos Nucifera)

Coconut oil (Cocos nucifera) is pressed from the flesh of the coconut and is rich in fatty acids such as lauric acid. As an emollient it softens and nourishes dry skin, and it is particularly good at dissolving make-up and surface oils while leaving skin feeling moisturised rather than tight.

iS Clinical uses coconut oil in two very different formulas. Cream Cleanser draws on its make-up-dissolving ability at the Cleanse step, together with squalane and red marine algae, for a cleanse that respects drier or sensitive skin.
